Alternative High School (Roosevelt) Graduation Requirements
Beginning in 2020, Roosevelt Alternative High School will not be classified as an option under the 'open-enrollment' choices for Natrona County School District. Enrollment in Roosevelt will be based on the individual student's social, emotional, and/or academic needs as determined by the District utilizing a process outlined in the details of administrative regulation 6400. As an alternative within Natrona County School District, Roosevelt High School is a referral recommendation from Kelly Walsh, Midwest, or Natron County High School. A Roosevelt student must obtain 20.0 credits of high school equivalent course work and is required to have a graduation plan.

Seal of Biliteracy
The Wyoming Seal of Biliteracy (WY-SoBL) is an award given by the Wyoming Department of Education in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in English and one or more additional languages by high school graduation. The WY-SoBL encourages students to pursue biliteracy, honors the skills students attain, and can be evidence of skills that are attractive to future employers and college admissions offices.
A student must be a candidate for graduation before being considered to receive the State Seal of Biliteracy. In addition to completion of graduation requirements, a student must demonstrate proficiency on an approved English assessment (i.e., ACT) and on one or more approved world language assessment. Students must demonstrate their proficiency in the four areas of communication including Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.
