Course Description
Successful completion in these advanced classes may enable future enrollment in International Baccalaureate or Pre-AP courses. English/Language Arts II Honors courses build on knowledge from Language Arts I in the areas of grammar, vocabulary, word usage, and the conventions of writing. These courses offer a balanced focus on reading, writing, language, speaking, and listening. Through the study of various genres of world literature and informative texts - including seminal United States documents - students will read and comprehend independently and proficiently at a deeper level.
