Course Description

This project oriented course introduces filmmakers to live television production and post production techniques. Students create short films and videos that are theme based, experiment with non narrative structure, and clearly communicate the filmmaker’s intent to the target audience. Students express a chosen theme through several different genres and become conversant with the principles of portable digital video acquisition and nonlinear editing. These students are also responsible for producing the Annual Statewide Film Festival.
