Course Description

This IB course is a detailed overview of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes of humans and animals. Students will study behavior and thought through various perspectives and levels of analysis. Topics include but are not limited to: development of the discipline, research methods, neuroscience, sensation, perception, cognition, sociocultural psychology, development, motivation,emotion, personality, mental disorders, and treatment.
