Course Description

This course offers a survey of the history of Asia from ancient civilizations to modern times. This course focuses on the study of India, China, Japan, and may include other areas of interest. Literacy skills will be a focus through the use of historical analysis. This course offers a survey of the history of Africa from ancient civilizations to modern times. This course includes the study of human beginnings, ancient kingdoms, Islamic influences and the Ottoman Empire, colonization and nationalism, and the ever-changing political climate of the continent.
