Course Description

This advanced course provides students with an overview of the history of human society from the early civilization to the contemporary period, examining political, economic, social, religious, military, scientific, and cultural developments. The objective of this course is to learn how the past affects the present and to teach students how to access and interpret information as it relates to today’s world through in-depth analysis and critical thinking. Collaborative research and cross-curricular connections are required.
