Course Description
IB Environmental Systems courses prepare students to take the International Baccalaureate Environmental Systems exam by providing them with the knowledge, methods, and techniques to understand the nature and functioning of natural systems, the relationships that affect environmental equilibrium, and human impact on the biosphere. Topics also include ecosystem integrity and sustainability, students’ own relationships to the environment, and the nature of internationalism in resolving major environmental issues. This is considered an interdisciplinary course.
