Course Description
This course covers fundamental two-dimensional art skills, which can stand independently or be used as a foundation for other visual disciplines. Students will become confident with creative problem-solving processes and skills, color theory, elements and principles of design, and abstraction. Materials may include colored pencil, watercolor, ink, acrylic, chalk and oil pastel, charcoal, and mixed media. These concepts will be mastered through the creation and production of original art. This is a Pre-IB class for NC students.
