Course Description

The students are introduced to foundational postures, breathing techniques and relaxation methods of yoga. Students will develop mind/body awareness, self-regulation and physical fitness. Other aspects include the benefits of increased mobility and breathing freely as they relieve built up stress, learn to relax and ultimately get more out of day-to-day life. The aim of this course is to provide students with lifelong skills through physical and social emotional learning.
