Course Description
Students already employed or who expect to be employed during the semester can sign up for the Work Experience Program and earn elective credit. Credit is awarded based on hours worked. Students must work 60 hours to earn .5 credit and 120 hours to earn 1 full credit. Students are also required to be enrolled in the Seminar on Work class and maintain a passing grade. The Work Experience Program provides a realistic perspective of appropriate work habits and attitudes, helps determine suitability for occupations, and enables students to have a clearer and more specific idea about careers. This is a repeatable course.
