Pre-AP Chinese Lang & Culture (Locations: PIC)

Pre-AP Chinese Language and Culture course prepares students to be successful in AP Chinese Language and Culture building upon prior knowledge and developing students' ability to express ideas, exchange opinions, and present information in Chinese, both orally and in writing. This course also helps students understand and interpret written and spoken Chinese. In addition, students explore the culture of Chinese-speaking people in historical and contemporary contexts. Students will demonstrate full command of the target language at the Intermediate Low level with scaffolded exposure and practice within the Intermediate Mid level texts and tasks, Intermediate Mid level with scaffolded exposure and practice within the Intermediate High level texts and tasks, and Intermediate Mid level with scaffolded exposure and practice within the Intermediate High level texts and tasks.
